After years of delays and speculation, Grand Theft Auto VI finally has a release date that’s holding steady: Thursday, November 19, 2026, launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar first confirmed this date in a Newswire post back in November 2025, and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has since reaffirmed it multiple times, stating the game won’t be delayed again. The date has already slipped twice before — from an original Fall 2025 window to a revised May 2026 date, and now to November — both times for extra polish.
Platforms: GTA 6 launches only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC version has been announced yet — based on Rockstar’s pattern with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, a PC release could follow a year or more after launch.

- Standard Edition – $79.99, full single-player story with Jason and Lucia
- Ultimate Edition – $99.99, adds exclusive vehicles and extras (Standard Edition owners can upgrade later)
