Rockstar’s catalog extends well beyond Grand Theft Auto, including beloved franchises like Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne, Bully, and Midnight Club. Whenever a new mainline GTA game approaches, fans inevitably start speculating about whether any of these other properties might make an appearance, even in a small or easter-egg capacity.

Historically, Rockstar has leaned toward subtle nods rather than full crossovers. GTA 5 included references to Red Dead Redemption through in-game media and props, but never anything as direct as a full character crossover. Given that pattern, most fans expect GTA 6 to follow a similar approach if it includes any references at all, likely through billboards, radio mentions, or collectible items rather than actual gameplay integration.

There’s also long-running fan speculation about a Bully sequel, something Rockstar has teased for years without ever confirming. Some fans hold out hope that a GTA 6 easter egg could hint at the franchise’s future, similar to how past games have occasionally planted seeds for other projects.

A full narrative crossover seems unlikely given how grounded and self-contained GTA 6’s story appears to be. But subtle references rewarding longtime Rockstar fans wouldn’t be out of character for a studio that has consistently built a shared, if loosely connected, universe across its various franchises.
